2017 Recruiting Thread Part 1

If Moore picks aggy just remember a couple of things:

1) It's a long ways to go until 2018 signing day.

2) Safety is deeeeep in state next year. I would be thrilled with BJ Foster + Atanza Vonger. Their is also Isaiah Humphries, Leon O'Neal, and Camron Jones.

3) Aggy is going to flop next year.
UT has already offered Foster and Vonger and I believe are both a notch above Moore, so I certainly agree with you.  I would also add Trent Gordon to your list from Manvel as Tom Herman stopped by the school soon after he was named as UT head coach and at times this past year, Gordon outplayed Derrick Tucker who is going to A&M.

EJ and Daniel switched the CB to aggy for Jordan, oh well, like I said, it's a deep safety class + you can always count on the sum-dog or one of his coaches to foul up the class with a couple of decommits.

good playoffs updates on some of the names this year

Here is BON story on offer to 3-star aggy commit TE/DE Camron Horry

".... A 6’5, 261-pound prospect out of Katy, Horry has been committed to Texas A&M since June. Herman and his staff recruited Horry while at Houston and now that the staff is making the tight end position a priority with the 2017 class amid a crucial period, it’s not surprising they did the same at Texas. The previous Texas staff didn’t pursue Horry.

Horry ranks as the nation’s No. 34 tight end and the No. 102 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite rankings"

Jaquayln Crawford -- “It was my childhood dream school. Growing up I wanted to be Vince Young, he was my favorite player and because of him I wanted to be a Longhorn....... It’d be cool to play for a team close to home that your whole family roots for.â€

Crawford’s junior film is really impressive. He looks a guy who could play either side of the ball in college. He told me that Texas offered him as a WR, but one Texas coach told him he could possibly see them using him at DB.

Crawford also told me, “I would prefer to play offense [in college], but will play whatever gets me on the field.â€

Right now Crawford has an early Top 3 of Texas, TCU, and Texas Tech (in no order), and said he’d like to get an Oklahoma State offer in the near future. As of a few days ago, he also plans to make his college decision before the start of his senior season. – (Andrew)

Hamm likes our chances with Sheffield better than he does aggy's

He thinks its us and tOSU

.....Kendall Sheffield: I’m told that Texas tried to push for a visit with JUCO CB and former Alabama corner, Kendall Sheffield but it didn’t work out. Sheffield will end up elsewhere.......

Hamm and aggy mods think they are slipping on Sheffield and saying Sheffield to Texas could really happen.
