It appears the change in coaching staff will require Hemphill to reconsider his options.

Hemphill is a 6-0, 175 lb. wide receiver from Manvel High School.

Other schools on Hemphill's list of interest:

Texas A&M

Texas Tech

Oklahoma

Arkansas

I don't know what to think...except for the fact that the dude is still two years away from signing. That's a LONG time.

Ok we will get back getting his commitment back on track. HOOK'EM and OU sucks

He was told that the new staff is re-evaluating all kids in his class. It's a dumb move in my opinion because he could have been evaluated and then told we were moving on if he wasn't in their plans. I hope this works out because this kid abused '14 and '15 stud DBs. He will probably be the top WR in Texas.

pretty hard to take a 2016 commitment seriously at this point.

when i was that age i was falling in love with the student teachers in the classroom too. unfortunately, none of them wanted to play around like they do today.

Calculated risk. Premeditated nonetheless.

The message here is you have two years to earn that offer. Incentive?

A lot of time left but if Hemphill continues on pace he could be one of the best receiver prospects in the state. He's that good at this young of an age.

Two years from now coach strong will have turned our program into a playoff team and we will then have every recruit racing to secure an offer from us. Not worried about the 2016 class.
