If Mark Jackson comes here - and I really want him to - it would be like Daylon last year in reverse.  I mean, why would MJ have said all of that about being so firm to aggy??  It couldn't have been bad mouthing Strong or else he wouldn't have come out of the OV so high on the farmers.  What's the deal?

Brandon Jones will OV to Baylor the last weekend (not TCU)

Then release his Top 3 on Feb 1

His comments weren't anything unusual. Almost all recruits have a post visit high and make similar comments.

Jackson may stick with aggy, but I wouldn't read anything into those comments.

The Higdon news that he doesn't think Jackson will end up at aggy really isn't surprising IMO. Give it a few days for Jackson to come off that visit high to A&M.

What recruits tell the public is often different than what's actually happening behind the scenes.

A questioned asked on HD

"How do you feel about things with Jordan Elliot?"

Higs Response:

"Good, real good...If I am Michigan, not so good though..."

DCG to visit Ole Miss this weekend...uh oh

Per Higs:

"Anytime a kid takes an OV this late and with Ole Miss you should be worried, 100%"

Good question.

I guess the answer is we cannot always trust/believe what we read, especially this time of year

Consider these things about this exact time last year --

Hill and Boyd loved their visits to aggy, and many were thinking they would go there.

Hamm said it was a matter of "when, not if" Hill would  commit to aggy.

Locksley was on the fence (but then mentioned both he and Soso would commit)

Higs was also saying that Texas would sign 25 kids and finish with a top 5 class, and that Warren would be the odd man out.

Soso was close to a lock to Texas.

Daylon Mack loved his visit to Texas

Davante Davis was iffy

Lampkin reaffirmed his commitment and shut down his visits.
