Surely we have to be looking into this kid. His arm was nasty accurate in that video.

I hope so as well.  They need a backup plan to Heard and Swoopes, in case they continue to struggle.  We havent seen Locksley or Merrick yet so thats unknown.  Cant really count on Shane as a true freshman either.  

Baylor has proven you cant have too many QB's.

I hope they go after a JC QB.  Evans is still out there as well

Agreed. I want Heard to be the Star most of us thought he would be coming out of HS. But it's clear he needs more time. Bringing in a upper classmen transfer with a sure arm is a gimme. Let Buechele and Ehlinger redshirt when they come in the next two years.

True, but the challenge is keeping them happy.

Kids seem to be more willing and able to transfer if they don't get playing time. Many even drop down to FCS to see the field.

Thats the thing with all of this.  We have no idea how good any of our current QB's could be with a decent QB coach and offensive game plan.

I hope Charlie is serious about a JUCO QB though.  We have only seen Swoopes and Heard the last 2 years.  Heard looks hesitant to throw which is concerning.

Good point, doesn't say anything about where he is visiting. Could be hitting Disneyland as far as we know.

It seems as if multiple "insiders" came out and claimed that he'd never play a down for Texas. Obviously this isn't the time to listen to insiders but they seemed pretty firm in what they had heard.

Yep.  USF I think is the visit, but it makes sense to see him end up there too.

I liked him, wish I could have worked out.
