The most interesting Vaughn tweet is this one. I think he's referring to the fact Texas will take 19 commits this cycle. By my count that's right, unless there's some attrition. If the staff is only planning on taking 19 commits there isn't a ton of room.

I'm pretty sure that is in reference to Brandon Jones. His number is 19 and his school mascot is the dragons.

Also, I figured out that Dickson is the 2-headed rattlesnack. Navasota Rattlesnacks.

Not sure. The way that's worded it doesn't seem like he's referring to a single recruit. From looking at the number of scholarship players we have and the number of seniors, 19 is about the amount of scholarship room we have (unless there's more attrition). I personally think the tweet is in reference to the amount of commits the staff is looking at taking.

A WR Texas should really take a look at is Davion Curtis. He plays against Eric Cuffee.. Last year he had 9 catches 179 2 td's in the gane.. he's 6ft 185. Runs a 4.38, currently committed to Georgia. ..

Not necessarily. LilJordan Humphrey is a RB for the Southlake Carroll Dragons and we're recruiting him hard right now. 19 is a class size, meaning he wants 19 in the class just like ___________ (fill in the blank with answer).

Does he dislike Texas? He is so quick to pile on when a recruit with a Texas offer goes somewhere else. But when something good happens he says nothing. Seems to me that he likes to troll the Texas fan base while covering us. Seems weird to me

Ive been following him on Twitter for a couple years. I think he means well but just a lil soft..lol

What are the chances we get a commit in the month of October? Is anyone close to pulling the trigger?

Keep an eye on Denzel Okafor. He really liked what he saw on Saturday. I think if we come out and do it again a couple times, he could commit to Texas. That's really the only concern he's had and has otherwise wanted to play at Texas.

TCU has been the leader, but the hype fades over time. I hear that he will either be a Texas verbal in a month (if Texas continues to develop) or he'll open everything back up again.

I'm trying to get in contact with him, going to interview him and post it here.

He should notice that Texas has 2 true freshmen on the line which means he could play from day 1 if good enough.

I feel like if we continue to play with the fire and passion that we showed on Saturday we will be in good shape toward the end of NSD. As a fan that makes 3 or so ballgames a year due to living 5hrs away from DKR... I haven't seen the fans and players connect like that since the 09 team. It was so great to see on Saturday from the stands. If we win we will get the guys that we want & need for this program going forward!

last i checked, he isn't on the commit list.  i get what you're saying.  if one wants to play for the Horns then pull the trigger and make it public.  stop "lampkining" around.

I wonder if Mayden still has bad feelings towards the good guys since "we didn't go after him"?
