So, to recap this series.
Of bama's 81 outs 49 were strikeouts. That's a .6049 percentage
We have up 5 total runs, had just 2 HBP for the series (both in sunday's game). A total of 10 walks with 4 a piece in each of Saturday and Sunday games.
That's really good to great to see especially after the last several seasons.
I just tip the cap to both bama's Saturday and Sunday afternoon starters for matching our starters. Especially when both of them are considered young pitchers.
I would guess you could say that Cozart is considered the closer for the rest of the season.
That SS, Lebron, is considered a top 5 pick in this year's MLB draft. It also makes me wonder how good one of our commits, Grady Emerson, a SS, is the top player in the nation and is considered a no.1 or no. 2 pick is ?
Don't read anything into the lineup other than Mendoza and Borba are in a funk. I was surprised by A Rod at the 3 spot when he hasn't been good and just back from the injury. Same goes with how the starters were used. Coach Schloss just wanted Volantis out there before Sunday as it would have been 2 weeks between outings per pregame and post game interview with Craig and Keith.
