2026 PORTAL

I get it, I'm not saying Cruz was a going to get snaps next year, but it feels they're losing depth and not replacing it with better quality....at least so far.

While we're on the subject, I expected these guys to get developed by Flood since they were recruited by him, but none of these lower star guys have been. This is alarming to me. Either they need better evaluations done on these guys or they need better coaching.
Flood's stock has dropped considerably in the past year. This year's OL performance was alarming to use your word. And... I heard that Flood wanted to go with the OL we had and not bring in new players from the portal --- against the advice of our GM type people. Sark sided with Flood in the debate.

This comes from Orangebloods.... the only source of Longhorn football truth. Okay, that may be too much.

I don’t think Williams ever officially entered the portal. Just told the staff he planned on it. I know Muschamp asked him to wait before he officially entered and was able to persuade him.

Maybe the article is wrong? But it indicates that he withdrew his name from the portal.

OTF is expecting Michigan OL Andrew Sprague and Wisconsin LB Christian Alliegro to make their decisions today.

Arizona State RB Raleek Brown may make his today as well.

We kept hearing all the hype of top players Texas has lined up in the portal. Then we are reminded of teams still in the playoffs. The top RBs in the playoffs have re-signed with their teams. This is similar to the paid web sites hyping team play in the spring and summer. One post said wait for the portal BOOM. My sentiments are like the old Wendy's commercial.

& former UT grad talked about OL before season. With all graduation, and who we had.Flood needs get it together,I know he might not have final say
Sark don't like Admit wrong & he would cause he brought him in.

There is just no possible way Flood could think that still going into the 2026 season though. Hell, I don't even know if we still have 10 OL left on the roster to have a 2 deep. Anything less than 2 transfers would be a living nightmare. Should get 4 with all the extra available scholarships.

"According to Pro Football Focus, Brunner has posted a 63.2 overall grade this season. The Brunner has committed just one penalty all season and allowed eight pressures on 297 pass blocking snaps, with no sacks allowed."

Man I really want this kid to come to Austin.
