If I had to guess, his NIL ask was higher than the staff put the value at. I think rb is one of the easier positions to get good/great portal value, and the staff feels they can upgrade at a discount. Definitely need at least two rb’s nowWow..What happened here ?
If so, I guess it's a sign of the times. If I had to guess, his NIL ask was higher than the staff put the value at. I think rb is one of the easier positions to get good/great portal value, and the staff feels they can upgrade at a discount. Definitely need at least two rb’s now

Gonna suck more for the players than the schools when they leave and can’t improve the financial aspect. Wisner is a good back, but he is far from elite. Lacks top end speed. He’ll likely go to a bad team and less money. His production doesn’t warrant big moneyIf so, I guess it's a sign of the times.
I totally understand that both the players and the schools need to do what's best for them, but as a fan this mostly sucks.
I guess it must suck much worse if your school isn't able to participate in the NIL arms race.
I fear this will be the path for most who leave their current school/situation and go chase a bag, only to make less $ and play on a losing team.Gonna suck more for the players than the schools when they leave and can’t improve the financial aspect. If their demand draws more money, their current school would pony up. This is a money issue on top of seeing a better back being brought in to tote the rock. I wish Wisner the best, he’s been a sooner and aggy killer but I think he overvalues himself. He will see soon enoughI fear this will be the path for most who leave their current school/situation and go chase a bag, only to make less $ and play on a losing team.is what it is.
I fear you're correct. I don't put all the blame on the players doing this, most of it falls on the "agents". They (CFB) opened the door to let hundreds of agents in as apposed to the dozens out there before. The only way to combat it is to not go to the games, not watch the games on TV, not buy merch, but those will never happen. So, I fear that this is college football now.I fear this will be the path for most who leave their current school/situation and go chase a bag, only to make less $ and play on a losing team.is what it is.
