I would say this, we want to take 3 LBs and brought 4 in on official visits. He is probably the 4th best out of those 4 (Barnes, Pettijohn, Faraimo ahead of him) and Pettijohn has committed elsewhere. So it is a good get in that if we miss, we are offering someone further down the list. There are likely others we wanted that were higher but those are likely lost causes if we didn't get them on campus for an official this summer.I don’t want to be a negative Nelly, but is this really a good get? I see offers from Utah and TCU, not from BIG guys. I guess just trust the coaches.
I think TE.What position does he project to play since he's listed as "Athlete"?

Great news here. If Roach is calling his shot, he's already signed and moved into the dorm.
If this was the Herman era then I would say yes. Under Sark though, I would say he has a better eye and feel for Lacey than I do. I've actually heard him refer to Lacey as another Bryce Young. If he sees Young in Lacey, then I think that is worth keeping. Are we regretting signing KJ Lacey so early and not pushing for 5* Kelon Russell? Food for thought.

I see Manning at the helm 2 years tops (25 & 26). Then a healthy QB battle between rJR Owens, rSO Lacey, and rFR Bell in Fall 2027 (throw in another high level 2027 QB as a true Fr).This,
Plus with the pipeline of QBs sark has they don't all need to pan out.
Manning likely goes 2 years maybe 3. With Owens,Lacey and Bell in the pipeline, we should be good after Manning leaves. And...if in the unlikely event that none of them pan out, there is always the transfer portal.
Unless Sark loses his touch we won't have any issues with offensive skill position players moving forward
He wants to play offense. He has been pitched as a RB (by Oregon) and a WR (by Nebraska) but he is more than likely to grow into a very athletic and very physical TE.I think TE.
I can finish my thought now that I'm not driving and at home.
With that said, I remember the LB coach also recruiting him. So, maybe he starts at TE, but has the option to play LB if he wants to.

Go watch his Hudl. It's a fun one
