They seriously should consider rebranding the conference name, not necessarily with some company name, which would no doubt will change over time. They have 16 teams now. I don't think Big-16 is taken yet and they might be able to lay claim to it before anybody else does.

It's all about branding. Big is over used and if you put a number after it, history has shown you're short-sighted--Big 10, Pac 10/12, Big 12.

No, they need to come up with something different. Maybe something to do with their new sugar daddy--Power USA Conference for a power tools sponsor or AA Conference for "double A beep, beep MCO" sponsorship.

I'm at the point where any news about Colorado football program doesn't surprise me. I wonder when we hear the mascot was abducted by aliens or Deion is a CIA operative using football as a cover.

It would be easy to believe the rumor about Deon telling his players to go to some club and support his son rapping.

Seems like asking wouldn't be a big deal. Assuming someone is mad enough to consider leaving the team there must be more to the story. Maybe they were told it was required, and they were already mad about other stuff and it was the last straw. Or if you believe Deon it's a made up story.

Hard to know or care what's going on. If Colorado doesn't win a bunch then the wheels may fall off the coach prime train.
