I like Texas' chances in a bidding war with LSU.

I wish they had more bidding power (reference to a bidding war in days gone by).

It's been several weeks since that was mentioned, and seems like an annual rumor.

There was a little bit of talk earlier in the season that Sorrell would think about turning pro.

My guess is he's trying to stir up a little drama to say he's returning.

I offer grace to emotional posters during games. I have less patience for lectures on how to root for the team. We’re all friends here, no? I admittedly tired of the “until we don’t” mantra.

Nothing but good feelings for the state of / prospects for Texas football in 2024 and beyond.

I understand frustration during tense moments because I have been guilty of that myself, however some comments appeared to be way more than that. And while most appear to be true Longhorn fans, I have to admit I had/have doubt about some.

Agree with feeling good about the future for our Horns!

I dont think Texas is going to hit the portal hard, its not in their business model, Texas recruits well, we are now on reload mode, I am not up to date on who we recruited but if Im a Texas recruit I know there is a chance for me to contribute immediately, even at QB we proved you're not going to sit for any length of time at Texas....the difference in these recruiting classes is that its going to be full of 4* and a couple of 5* recruits, you're going to have to be an exceptional 3* to make it here at Texas now

IMO Texas just needs to follow the tried and tested Bama> Georgia>Clemson model....you recruit speed and playmakers......what do they say SPEED KILLS

Last time I looked there was 2 players with exciptional speed unsigned Blair and Henderson.

Over 95% of this board has been pro Sark throughout the season. There has been questions about PK and his defensive passing schemes and I have been one of them. I do have a question about QB pressure. Did quit blitzing? I don't remember AntHill getting in the backfield much after Alabama.

He could likely raise his stock and make some money if he stayed another year. This where agents guiding college players will be detrimental.

If he is offered a job as the DC then in my book it is LSU all the way. Money, a higher profile position and alma mater.

I get you Baron. I’m pretty optimistic too. After the ou loss, I didn’t even look at HornSports until the next game. And today I saw that the guys from the statesman were doing a podcast on what went wrong in the last game. We ran into a VY/Joe Burrow and still had a shot to win at the end. The play didn’t work out the way I wished but I slept well because we showed up, played hard and lost. Maybe not our best game but hard. What more can you ask for? It was a great game and we were on the losing end… We played to the whistle.

I felt like we got the short end of the stick from the refs.
Several bad calls and several non calls made a difference in a closely matched game.
I don’t want use that as an excuse, because the lost fumbles hurt us worse than the refs, but still…
We damn near stole that game. Fought to the very end.
Dammit ! That was a tough loss !!!
