I didn't think this was an argument. Take away his arm and 2005 isn't relevant.Yes, he could flick a ball downfield. My statement about his running stands.

I googled and couldn't find itgoogle that pre game photo at DisneyLand where you saw Mack and Vince and Lienhart and USC coach. I swear that was the moment Texas won that game. The body language tells the whole story

They showed the picture on 05, the 3 part series on the Longhorn Network. Mack and VY were loose, the USC guys looked uptight.I googled and couldn't find it
I assumed our receivers were poorly coached (not too likely) or couldn't translate the coaching to the field. It also depends on the pass coverage. Those holes only tend to exist in zone coverage. In any case, a lot of Quinn's passes are to open receivers these days which is great to see.I am by no means an OC. But, when Vince and Colt were playing, it seemed like the receivers ran to a hole/gap in the secondary and the QBs delivered the ball. After Mack and Co were gone, I wondered why more coaches didn't use the same philosophy.
I can't put it up from my tablet but all I had to do was Google....Vince Young and Mack Brown photo at Disneyland.....I googled and couldn't find it
I think you are reading too much into it. Bush and Leinhart were just disappointed they didn't get to wear the Mickey gloves. They showed the picture on 05, the 3 part series on the Longhorn Network. Mack and VY were loose, the USC guys looked uptight.
I didn’t realize how big VY’s hands were
Nah, the moment Texas won the game was when Reggie Bush was announced the Heisman winnergoogle that pre game photo at DisneyLand where you saw Mack and Vince and Lienhart and USC coach. I swear that was the moment Texas won that game. The body language tells the whole story
I never realized he only had 8 fingers. He overachieved as a passer!I didn’t realize how big VY’s hands were![]()
Funny, he didn’t play his sr yearI'm just defending my stance. VY has a nice arm, his senior year, but it was his legs that inflicted the most damage on opponents.
Even USC players said that. "He's as big as our lineman and faster than our DBs!"
There is no debate. VY is definitely the best 8 fingered QB of all time!I never realized he only had 8 fingers. He overachieved as a passer!
My bad. His last yearFunny, he didn’t play his sr year
Vince was the greatest, but the D did stop them on 4th down.when Carrol was interviewed after the game, he was asked why they went for it on 4th down late when they had the lead and he simply said.."we couldnt stop the quarterback."....Then Linert was interviewed and was asked what happened and he just said..." we couldn't stop the quarterback"...
pretty conclusive evidence why they lost....
