Craig does know that 2005 was only 18 years ago, riight 😉
There were 20 players drafted from the 2005 Texas roster over the 4 years.  That included players who didn't play.

I think this team will have more draft picks.  Not sure how many but this team is stacked.

SECSECSEC is going to realize it has a gold mine with Texas.....The 2 most watched Bowl games in history both had Texas...USC in 2005 and Alabama in 2010.

Lots of football since....none watched as much...

FOX disagrees. They quoted someone named Austin Karp who said Texas vs Alabama drew 7.96 million viewers and Colorado vs Nebraska drew 8.71 million viewers. Joel Klatt also said Colorado drew more, but didn't give his source.

Of course, Klatt's a Homer, and FOX broadcasted the Colorado game.

Fox isn't counting the streaming numbers for the Pat McAfee stream. ESPN is including it here, Fox is not in their number.

Under Tom Herman, this is the kind of game that scared me.  To clarify, I wouldn't be too concerned Texas would lose to a Wyoming, but that they would come out flat after such a huge game in the previous week.  I don't get that sense from Sark.  Sure, the 1st half against Rice was a head scratcher, but they righted the ship in qtr 3.  I think this team comes out fast and is all gas and no brakes on Saturday.

A few thoughts after rewatching the game last night:

1. Milroe is the type of QB that is going to steamroll bad teams. They won’t have the athletes to contain him on the run.

2. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this was a B game from Texas. They have lots of things to clean up. A few missed blocks, and poor passes, and bad snaps. Still won. Idk if that means Bama is worse than we think or not.

3. Burke, Hill, and Sorrell? Woof it’s good to have a pass rush. We’ve missed it so much.

4. shout out to Jett Bush. Former walk on didn’t look outmatched. I was wrong about him.

I was also impressed with the refs. I didn’t see many bad calls.
It was refreshing to watch a correctly called game. It’s been a while.

Unfortunately for us, back to Big 12 refs soon.
