They were told it's not serious, and it's not COVID.

I think Chris Ash going to Texas, he’s not a good defensive coach. He’s an elite defensive coach with an elite reputation and can develop players. - Urban Meyer

Not a huge Urban fan but he knows how to win. I remember him also saying that Chris Ash is one of the best recruiters that he’s been around.  Coming from Urban that’s pretty high praise. Cautiously optimistic ??

But he was right in this case. Two draft choices in 12 years is pitiful. Hopefully, we're witnessing the change.

Here is an interesting question, is it possible, better yet probable, that players like Derek Kerstetter and Tarik Black could come back in 2021?  Obviously, if either of them get a 1st through 3rd round draft grade then they should take it.  However, what if their grade is lower or even at the UFA level? The new NCAA ruling makes this a possibility now.
