Guess what defense is playing a 4 man front.

Texas’ backups should be good enough to start for those teams. They’ve recruited well enough the last few years for that to be the caseTop 25 poll released today: Utah, SMU, Cincinnati, Minnesota and App. Freaking State ranked in the Top 20 and Texas is not. Pathetic. And I don't want to hear about injuries or other excuses. Coach Mensa needs to take a cold, hard look at his staff this offseason and make some uncomfortable decisions, and if he can't or won't make those decisions, then he needs to go with his assistants.
Left out the part where Tom laid it all out on the line and demanded people speak up about what they were seeing.According to a poster on OB, El Mahico, there was a "come to Jesus" meeting yesterday involving the coaching staff, analysts, and support staff in which very little was held back.
No doubt injuries have hurt our pass defense. But right now that’s really a crutch. No matter who or how many you drop in coverage, if the quarterback is not forced to throw before he’s ready then someone is going to get open. Our three man rush makes our DB’s sitting ducks.
The only chance we have for an incompletion is for the quarterback to make a rare bad throw or for the receiver to simply drop the ball.
The real BJ Foster? Or the one that has been playing???One of my customers is the son of the "voice of the Frogs." I had lunch with him today. He told me that Patterson had noticed that when Ehlinger is able to sit in the pocket, he is lethal. But when he's forced to throw on the run, he makes mistakes. That was pretty much their 2nd half strategy.
On the injury front, we will have back from injury for the K-State game:
Caden Sterns - S
Jeffrey McCulloch LB
BJ Foster S
Demarvion Overshown S
He's been playing with a bum shoulder, wears a shoulder brace under his pads. Thats why he had trouble tackling against OU and KU, he couldn't raise his arm above his chest. The real BJ Foster? Or the one that has been playing???
Can't argue with that. We're hurting on the coaching side whereas Baylor is not. We have the players. Thats not the issue. The most intriguing thing left in the season for me is if Texas loses to Baylor and how Baylor finishes. If Baylor beats Texas and finishes higher in the Big 12 all the Herman was left a dumpster fire, young players and injury excuses go out to window. Baylor's roster is in way worst shape when Rhule took over..

Inside Texas mods indicate Sterns would like to Redshirt. Herman would like him back next week. Whittington could be back as well.
