He has almost 40 years of experience coaching offense. He will review video of Texas players and opponents defenses. He will be a sounding board in offensive meetings. But he is being paid by another school. He will not recruit. So you get all the benefits of a high level offensive coach at a fraction of the cost. Sonny Dikes did this last year with TCU. This is a great move to have with a fairly young Texas offensive staff. It adds a ton of experience to the meeting room.
Corbin is likely more of a slot guy than a RB. I do not think this offer has anything to do with Ingram.

Am not familiar with him and haven't looked at his film so far, but I think we want a speedster. Remember we offered the one rb that signed with Baylor and whose name I've forgotten, he also fell into that category.

Kind of surprises me that more schools don’t have a rule like this. If you are a powerhouse school with a lot of D1 talent, you have to be able to keep the coaches visits under control.
