Okay, JR DAY is upon us and some offers will go out while others in attendance have already been offered.

Do we get a commitment or commitments from JR DAY? If so, who is the first to come aboard?

Here's the Hornsports Jr Day list as published at the top of this board (pinned).

As a side note, wouldn't it be a hoot if Max Wright committed? LOL

I have no inside info, just using some logic and gut feeling in saying Coburn could be the first. Ingram could fall in love with Austin, easily, on this trip, too.

2018
QB Tanner Mordecai, Waco Midway
RB Keaontay Ingram, Carthage
WR Jalen Preston, Manvel
WR Joshua Moore, IMG Academy (FL)
WR Al'vonte Woodard, Houston Lamar
WR Brennan Eagles, Alief Taylor
WR Taye Barber, Cypress Springs
WR Tommy Bush, Schertz Clemens
TE Mustapha Muhammad, Ridge Point
TE Bralen Taylor, Cuero
OT Rafiti Ghirmai, Frisco Wakeland
OT Trey Stratford, Allen
OL Barton Clement, Thurgood Marshall
DE Max Wright, Katy Taylor
DT Keondre Coburn, Spring Westfield
CB Anthony Cook, Houston Lamar
DB Patrick Fields, Tulsa Union
DB Atanza Vongor, South Grand Prairie
S Leon O'Neal Jr., Cy Springs
S BJ Foster, Angleton
S Jordan Moore, Yoakum
S Patrick Fields, Tulsa Union
ATH Ta'Zhawn Henry, Houston Lamar

2019
OL Kenyon Green, Atascocita
WR Theo Wease Jr., Allen (maybe)

Making Solo Trips
CB D'Shawn Jamison, Houston Lamar (19th)
CB Jalen Green, Heights

What say you?

I think it will be OL Trey Stratford or ATH Jaqualyn Crawford from Rockdale.

I think the first commitment will be chip scoop from Stratford high school

It could be anyone, but I really hope it's Foster. 5-star guy, loves Texas, and could potentially be the vocal leader of this group (akin to Reggie Hemphill from the 2016 class).

Coburn is currently an aggie lean. His plan is to take the process slow and take many visits. I would not expect him to commit to anyone for a while.

BJ Foster. If he commits it could set the tone for the entire cycle. Providing the Horns win this next season.

Fair enough. I just remember hearing someone say he was interested in UT.

Seems most of these folks think Foster is the first. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Yeah I think it'll be a while before Coburn commits and everybody is an aggy lean this time of year. Yeah they got 6 commits but other than Luke Matthews who would you want from them? The other lineman they have committed has been talked about on the gagem 247 as looking pretty bad at the opening in Houston and you never here the WR commit they have as being in the top group in Texas.

Foster is a good choice but Herman is going to have to fight off Meyer and Ohio State for him.

What's wrong with this picture....

Not a lot of kids from Dallas-FW?

I remember someone posting that recruiting would pick up in the Houston area and fall off in the DFW area with Herman. I hope they recruit the whole state.

Hopefully it will be Foster or Cook. That'd get the momentum going pretty quick I would think.
