Any news about men's basketball ?

Texas is currently #18 in RPI and #4 in SOS. We should easily finish with the #1 SOS if you look at the remaining schedule (it's brutal).

Don't forget that 2 teams that would likely get an at large bid (SMU and Louisville) are also banned from the postseason this year. So the bubble just got weaker.

Not that it really matters, because Texas should be fine in terms of making the tournament with a couple more wins. The remaining schedule is very difficult though.

I keep wondering why we're not ranked? Couple of bad losses, sure, but we've also beat the current ranked #2, #14, and #15 teams couples with #18 RPI and right now a projected 5th seed I believe (which puts us in the top 20). I know rankings don't REALLY matter, but it'd be nice to see the team getting rewarded for what they've done so far

We really don't have a couple bad losses either. TCU and that's about it. Tech is a RPI top 50 team and did well in nonconference.

Maybe Washington but they ended up much better than expected.

Draft Express now shows Prince Ibeh at No. 43 overall in their latest mock draft.

I guess they did that before Saturday's game.

But seriously, he has really stepped up since Big Cam went down

Kid's from Indiana, where they start teaching basketball fundamentals in kindergarten.

Wow.  Despite its flaws, no one can claim the B12 is not a good BBall conference.

Juan, since you appear to be the recruiting guru of this board, what do you believe the chances are Texas lands Jarrett Allen?
