Just watched a replay of tonight's game against App St
My notes for those who will indulge me
1. Cam Ridley is really coming into his own. Very excited to see him turn into such an offensive force. He's working. He's hustling. He's throwing down dunks left and right. This is what we expected him to be when he got here. He's now reached that standard.
2. Felix is just money on the three. Just money. And it's a thing of beauty.
3. Texas simply HAS to get better at the free throw line. I think we shot better from the 3-line than we did the charity stripe tonight. Not good. Needs to be addressed.
4. Lammert is my hero. He just does what needs to be done and he recognizes things so quickly and easily. He plays like a veteran. We're going to miss him next year even though he doesn't get much hype this year.
5. Kerwin Roach is going to be a STAR here before he's done. He's got poetic abilities that he's just beginning to tap into.
6. Really like the Davis kid. Nice shot. Plays a little timid but when he loosens up, look out.
7. Cam Ridley played so well he deserves a second mention, this time for his defensive prowness. He blocked everything in sight after some double teams early.

For everyone wondering whether our big men would fit into Shaka's style, he does seem to be getting the absolute best out of Cam and Connor and keeps putting them in positions to succeed on the court. I think it's a testament, so far, of Coach Smart's ability to adjust to his players.
