look at the list of voters and tell me who is most likely to be influenced by an sec-biased media. condi rice? barry alvarez? tom osborne? pat haden? the ad of clemson? the former pres of the ncaa who was an oregon grad? the former superintendent of the AF academy? ty willingham? i'm forgetting a couple.
there's one sec rep...the ad from arky. the one guy who might have been biased, archie manning, pulled out
a good conspiracy needs a motive. not much motive for the folks above to stack the deck with sec teams. just the opposite actually.
I agree with you... None of them have any reason to ACTIVELY act with any bias... But to think that what they see daily from the media doesn't effect their thoughts as it would ANY person placed on that panel, is illogical to me. There isn't a segment on ESPN you can see that doesn't pump the sec as the greatest thing since the iPhone. Dismissing the panel completely, because neither of us have any inside look into it, the bias is a much bigger issue than who they select into the tournament... Before the panel I had and issue with it and I still do. It effects money, recruits, support, current players, etc...
