Riley Leonard getting hurt might actually help ND. It takes away the stupid notion that Leonard could run the ball on Penn St.Watching the PSU-ND game right now.
There are numerous players wearing shorts tonight. smh
We gotta get you a fashion police badge or something.Watching the PSU-ND game right now.

I remember just a few tackles aided by pulling hair. It's quite rare and it's irrelevant for a kicker like Bert Auburn. Two things that have reflected poorly of some college football players today.
Hair that says "I'm not serious."
The military has an excellent rational for shorter haircuts. Its because your long hair can be used against you in combat. You might as well have handles on each ear. This translates to football. If you have a big wad of hair coming out the back, it's what I might have to grab to bring you down. And you provided that advantage to me.
And not wearing proper attire. We rationalized getting rid of knee pads. Now they're going without thigh pads. Pants are now cabana boy shorts. Next thing you know they'll create male camel toe or something.
We need to have a "good" 1st Quarter as well. We cant get down big against OSU. OSU has put away both Tenn and Oregon by beating both of them 35-0 in the first quarter. If we can run the ball effectively then we should win.I gotta admit, I'm nervous about this game. All other games I figured the Horns would eventually pull it out...even the UGA games. This game makes me nervous because of the damn 3rd Qtr. Can this team turn it around and not have that down period and finally play a 60 minute game? It's time to put it all together. HOOK'EM
I agree to an extent. We need to move the ball effectively. Whether that be by throwing to set up the run or running. We can't get caught up in trying to do something that is not working because we think we have to. If the running game is not working we need to pivot. Ohio State lost to Michigan because they thought they had to run the ball to win and it wasn't working. Instead of pivoting they kept running and it kept not working. Against Georgia and ASU the running game wasn't working and we kept going to it and got behind the chains. Late in the 4th quarter and OT against ASU we put the game in Quinn's hands and we moved the ball. And we need to not have as many false starts. Nothing worse than being behind the chains against a tough defense. We need to have a "good" 1st Quarter as well. We cant get down big against OSU. With one exception, we never know when we might take no our last breath."We Are Only Heartbeat Away" So sun might come up for someone.Opinions are like…
The team gets to play and we get to watch. What’s not too like. Let’s enjoy instead of worrying. Win or lose the sun comes out the next day. Spending time worrying diminishes the excitement.
Unfortunately, Sark can be stubborn this way. Let's hope his mentality is different this game.I agree to an extent. We need to move the ball effectively. I think with pads and pants, players are emphasizing speed and agility over cushioning that at best may prevent bruising but isn't protective against major injury. It's players seeking whatever advantage they can to be their best - similar to your argument for short hair.
