ASU wasn’t on the paper you were referring to. We beat Michigan in Michigan. They lost to Michigan at the Shoe.ASU would differ
I’m not going into the game with fear or dread but excitement. We’re here.

And they played Akron, W. Mich. and Marshall. What's your point? You're cherry picking. OSU is peaking, but that doesn't mean Texas can't withstand. Texas has skins on the wall as well. We're going up against the #1 defense? They played Oregon twice, Penn st, Indiana, Tenn. We played CO state, LA-mon and UTSA. It doesn't look good for us.
Going to be interesting to see what Texas does at FG the rest of this season.Long time, no post. Anyone else seeing/reading that Will Stone is getting 1st team reps on FGs?

I think you are right. My guess in this game is that we’re going to see concepts and lots of pre-snap movement on the offensive side that we haven’t seen much of this season, similar to what we saw last season vs Bama. I think Sark will spread the running backs out wide as receivers from time to time, possibly early in this game to try to get Ohio State’s front 7 moving east/ west with the hope that we can tire them out. If this is successful, we could have some success running the ball in the ladder stages of the game.
In most instances the running backs will start wide and the entire backfield will shift to a normal formation, this will do two things, 1. It’ll keep Ohio State honest and will keep them from disguising their defense 2. It will keep Ohio State’s defense on their toes and hopefully cause some confusion and potentially open up their defense to be exploited
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?????
It ain’t over till we was it’s over.
Go Horns!!!!
Wanta see Horns but realistically not to optimistic. On paper, we are in trouble. We don't have the offense to compete against this D. It's going to be a long game.

I read a post from a credible guy on another forum today. He said he speaks with one of the coaches almost weekly. He says the staff is very confident. Says they stayed with a vanilla plan against ASU and admitted they kinda overlooked them to an extent. Texas thinks they have a plan that will work against OSU.
Just thought that was interesting.
Actually, they are at the Gaylord Texan, which is in Grapevine. Nice play to stay and an easier route to Arlington.
