From BON regarding Shaw

"In three seasons with the Tar Heels, Shaw wasn’t able to translate his strength and athleticism into consistent production, posting 18 tackles, a half tackles for loss and two passes broken up in 13 games as a freshman, 11 tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass broken up as a sophomore, and 26 tackles, four tackles for loss, and a pass broken up as a junior when Shaw made a significant jump in his overall effectiveness, according to his grades from Pro Football Focus, posting a 68.1 overall grade, more than 16 points higher than his grade in 2023."

His lack of production early was due to injuries. He was healthy this year and the results reflected that.

He was a five-star prospect coming out of high school.

Watch the video. In the center of the picture is where you'll see Shaw being triple teamed by Florida St and holding his ground.

Bobby: Texas really wanted Zach Branch, but didn’t want to take another safety. Package deal killed it.

Terry (not Ty) Webb is the Texas State DT transfer that Texas is interested in. 850 snaps in 2 years of Texas State. More of a pass rush interior guy than a run stopper. 6’3” 315. 2 years of eligibility. Graduated from Ball High.

CJ also thinks it’s not over with Noah Thomas. Different player than Sark normally likes, but makes plays down the field.

That’s the attitude that got him released for team.

Also that attitude that landed him at Washington 👎🏻

Hope he figures it out, doubtful though.
There is possibility that Jontay out of program he can now be candid. I think Quinn is good young that has priorities right but not franchise QB. Actually if look back at previous post I said it then.

I would love this pickup. I know Texas is set at Edge, but imagine him and Simmons on the Edge with Hill coming on a zero blitz. Talk about speed.

Also heard Texas is gonna host USC IOL Pregnon. Looking at a G position. 2nd team all B10 selection. I would be cool with this. If DJ Campbell goes into the draft then you have Pregnon and Umeozulu for G, Cruz / Hutson for C.

Miami is desperate for a QB.

Yes, but obviously they didn't wait until he entered the portal to put the deal together, so technically tampering, since there is no enforcement it's a non issue. They apparently don't even care how obvious it is

Maybe Quinn really has been offered $6,000,000 by Oregon already.

Says a lot about Cristobal if it's true. But the King of tampering is Lincoln Riley.

With no enforcement of any communications rules everyone keeps testing the boundaries, and consistently the lesson learned is there are no boundaries.

With the calendar being so tight for spring enrollment, and how crucial the QB position is, we probably shouldn't be surprised. Even if we don't think much of Cristobal, he really is just trying to do his best to optimize his roster, just like the rest of the college football coaching community.

I was never impressed with Carson Beck. He seemed to be a big beneficiary of a loaded roster surrounding him. He won't have that at Miiami.

IMO, Miami way overpaid.
