Nice comeback win for the Longhorns. Pretty crazy that the Horns are in the final 6 with such a young team. Good news too is we still have some fresh arms. Schiraldi, Cooper and Hollingsworth. Duke and Curtiss haven't thrown much either. 3-5 runs a game, been saying it all year.

Do we have enough pitchers?  We shall see.

Really solid effort from French. He did a great job of mixing locations both horizontally and vertically. That kept Louisville off balance all afternoon.

Nice win. Defense was great. Louisville was very generous today. Hollingsworth has been solid and we will need a quality start out of him Wed. Who knows what we will get from Schraldi. Luckily this tournament takes forever so we can rest our arms.

the CWS is very friendly for pitching staffs. Off until Wedn. Win that, off until Friday. Now if we win THAT one, we have to come back the next day, but carpe diem.

Will be tough to get out of the losers bracket but we still have some arms. Need a good outing from Lukas. I would almost think about starting Hollingsworth and then Cooper.

I think beating Irvine twice is easier than beating Vandy twice. That's why I think Vandy losing tonight benefits Texas more.
