Bergeron is out

That's it?  No explanation?
"to focus on academics,,,,,,"

If it is a problem with Strong he needs to get his act together. No player is worth sacrificing the chemistry of an entire team. With that said, the reports are that he's just done for spring practices. If he was dismissed the reports would be that he's dismissed from the team. I hope people aren't quick to jump to conclusions, because we have no clue what's going on. He's been adamant on Twitter that nobody knows what's going on. For all we know it could be family issues or something. Not really worried about him transferring either if he is in the doghouse with Strong....a senior isn't going to sit out a year.

come on gents, let us not "rush" to judgement!  OB, is indicating that the reasons behind "bergeron" not being more formidable as per "spring practice" is due to the very simple fact that he needs to become a bit more focused as per his "academics".

once his academic levels have become a bit more enhanced...  he shall certainly return to practice.

I really hope he can get his priorities straight and get back on track. I can only imagine how many distractions he has in his position but at some point you have to make personal sacrifices for your future.

With our paper thin depth at RB, we really need Bergeron this fall.

IT thinking both Bergeron and Daje ineligible for 2014 because of grades?!
Don't know how they would know that, since summer school hasn't even started. Even if both players were a semester behind they could take 6 hours each sessions of the summer and be good to go. Little premature to even know if they are ineligible due to grades.

It depends on how big of a hole they are in and how they perform in summer school. If a student with 90 hrs is academically and has been struggling 12 hrs with a 4.0 might be what it takes to fix the problem and might be a pipe dream. Being in a hole and taking 12 or 15 hrs and not getting g out of the hole makes getting out of the hole over the summer even harder.

Not sure where they are getting their info, but something is making them feel its a possibility.

Strong doesn't think Bergeron is gone.

Max Olson just tweeted this:

Charlie Strong on RB Joe Bergeron: "We'll get him back." Missed time in spring to work on academics
