I don't think they even considered PR. I think they acted like they always have and never thought about how this would be perceived. Now they are using attorneys and still daring anyone to do anything about it. TT coach only calling on Tech fans at a press meeting pretty much said it all. That wasn't PR. PR wasn't even considered. That was basically a middle finger to everyone.

Big12 is in a tough spot, but given that all the other ADs want this, it's not too surprising.

The league filed a federal lawsuit Monday in the Northern District of Texas seeking both a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief to allow the league the authority to use its bylaws to potentially punish Sorsby.
