I was glad to hear during the pregame talk with Craig and Keith that coach Schloss said they want to get Michael Winter some time as a starter. They would like to have him as a starter moreso for next year I guess. But he got back a week or so from an illness; thus not certain that he should be out starting until next Tuesday. But that's just IMO.

I will say I do like seeing Pendergrass get the start and what he did at the plate. I also like seeing Larson getting more playing time and at-bats.

Now, if Mendoza could get out of his funk at the plate.

Funny you mention that because I was thinking he sure strikes out a lot for a leadoff hitter.
