Players can withdraw from the draft before Feb 7 or so. It used to be you also couldn’t have an agent, but college ball is a pro league now.

Indiana has 22 seniors and Miami has 24, and Ole Miss has 26.

Average used to be 14, but portal changed that.

Sha, have you heard anything on Texas and OL Laurance Seymore from W. Ky or Taleek Lockette from Texas St? Both seem like they would be great pickups for depth and to possibly compete for the LG spot.

I don't think Texas makes a move with either. Sark is seeking the final OL, a guard, preferrably a guard who starts. I hear some talk about a guard who will play in the national championship tomorrow night. I hope that's true.

Bottom line, the next OL we get will be our starting LG, IMO.

I really think we need 2 guards myself. But there aren't many left with starter capabilities. There are several teams still looking for them however. So even if they get a guard from the National Championship game to enter the portal, they will have a ton of competition for him.

OTF says there will be no more defections from the team. The player who had put his name in the portal and OTF didn't name him, has now re-signed with Texas.

Keep an eye on Indiana OG Bray Lynch. He is from Westlake. Some say Indiana got Brunner to replace Lynch and want to move Lynch to center next year. Something to keep an eye on, for sure.

IT just said we were starting to ramp up our pursuit of Tallek Lockette (Texas State OL) last week before pulling back. Seems something else may be in the works now at guard.
