Couple of notes from today’s scrimmage

There’s a lot of talk about how well the defense played today and how the offense was shut down. This is true for the most part, but the offense was also supposed to be pretty vanilla. And remember, the defense already knows the offensive playbook. No real surprise on either front and no reason at all to doubt the offense’s capabilities.

With that being said, this defense is going to be very fast and elite. They will be the difference-maker in this team this season.

OT Nick Brooks limped off the field today and was the lone injury. We were told that Brooks was walking around with no limp or hitch at the barbecue afterwards, which is a good sign.
 
Have they not had any "two-a-days" practices yet? Or will they do that?

Hell....practice is just practice....but team BBQ is serious....toting ribs and elbowing other 300 pounders aside...hell no he ain't limping....
