We can pay him well and he can live in Austin instead of collie station. I’d make him say no. I’m not sure if he’d come but I also wouldn’t write it off before I tried.

I would definitely ask, and I’m sure inquiries have been made. I’m just saying, from a coach’s point of view, why screw up a good thing you already have going. They can offer just as much money (ask Jimbo) and he’s building something special.
I would love to have him! I’ve been a fan since his TCU days. Taking off my burnt orange glasses, I just don’t logically see it happening.
I would love to be wrong.

I haven’t been to aggy field since the late 70s but it looks pretty nice on TV.
