Basketball News/Recruiting Thread

It’s obvious that most teams especially the SEC. Have the “just win baby” philosophy.
I have hope that CDC can win without stooping to dealing with sexual deviants, etc..
If not, it will be a sad day for the Longhorn program.

That's not what you stated though and you have mentioned the lack of making the playoffs this season before regarding Beard. Be that said, I get it you don't like Beard. Besides, do you really think Kentucky cares about baggage after hiring Calipari?
I think they will turn a blind eye to certain things in the name of winning. That said, Calipari's baggage is of a very different type than Beard's.

That depends, really. Did Beard have an offense he repeatedly committed? Or was it a one-time loss of his cool?

Was Caliper's something that he repeatedly did? Or a one-time thing?

The two are very different, I would agree. I'd like to hear what baggage Calipari has, I admit I'm not real familiar with him except that he wins and lot of people think he's crooked or immoral.

Free article on 24/7 covers the 1219 basketball class of Texas H S ers. Top 10 plus 4. Was very interesting how high they were finaly ranked.

Coaching, recruiting, evaluating or development. Out of the 14 players 2 finally came to Texas, 4-5 more and a final 4 maybe. U Con. did it with 1. Maybe Texasshould rethink their approach.
Thoughts?
