Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

I do find it humorous to read all the accolades then resort back to "We don't know but In Sark we trust" when asked to explain the reasoning. Its a fetish I guess

I get it. Sark doesn't need anyone's approval or disapproval on here. That includes your approval as well as my "supposed" disapproval. How is it supposed you may ask? I dared to ask a question on a free sports forum. The audacity of such an insolent knave! I can almost feel the glare of the sunshine crew at the screen now. Well sorry if it gets your panties in a wad but I do TRY to research when determining what is koolaid or fact. I was curious because of the time that passed I wonder if we missed on another target then went for Baker. Crazy right?

I was just trying to find out more about him as I don't keep up with all goings on recruiting.

Its is funny how conformity is so very touchy on sports forums. FYI, I am a Sark supporter so you can chill with the police forum bullshit.

Also I tried to decipher your last sentence but I honestly gave up. I do try to get in my feelings though. I tried hippie vibes a few times. I hope this post doesnt get into your feelings either :)

He’s inexperienced, but so was Choice. Heck at one point Saban was inexperienced.

I’m thinking Saban saw something in Sark, when he brought him back.

Sark's talents were no secret. I assume when Saben initially hired Sark the pay was minimal. Saben realized that ex head coaches are very usefull to have around. Obviously Sark proved himself very useful and his role expanded. Sark has adopted this same strategy of hiring ex head coaches.

DMAC,
You brought up an excellent point. I don't think any of us know much about him, so we just hope that this hire will be as good as previous hires. The response to you was a sarcastic one, because, again, none of us know him.
I was listening to a podcast and they said is that he had strong relationships in the Atlanta metro area, which apparently has produced the most D1 level talent in the past 7 years. DFW is 2nd. He's a tactician, and is equally proficient in teaching run stop techniques as well as pass rush.
My 2 cents on the topic.

Shipley brought up a good point in the interview. He basically noted that the Sark hires have been home runs so far. I was bummed when Bo Davis left for LSU but @Sirhornsalot made some good points regarding Davis recruiting hardships. If Baker has that personality similar to Choice we should improve on DL recruits

I saw where Spec Asst Joe DeCamillis is leaving Austin to take a similar role with S Carolina. The article stated his specialty is working with the special teams unit.
