11 million dollar increase in contributions, plus however much has been raised on the NIL side. That is huge. I was curious if the athletic department would see contributions decrease as boosters shifted money to NIL instead.
And that last part is why aggy… is aggy. Whoop.

With winning, recruiting is better - which makes good teams - which helps recruiting. Wash and rinse. This helps a program not only this year, but builds teams for the future. NEVER, EVER, pull for BLOW U.
Baron, this is not directed at you. I'm using your post to illustrate an earlier post I made about OU: NEVER, EVER pull for OU. I posted it it is short sighted. Recent example was people wanted OU to win so to show quality wins and/or wanting them in conference championship. We didn't need either.

This whole Jack, Buck and Edge thing confuses me. Can you have a Jack, Mike, Edge and Buck on the field at the same time? I realize the need to have 5 DB's in the game nowadays. I assume rotating Edge, Buck, Nose, 3 tech, Mike backer and some form of Will or Sam confuses the offense, but it makes it damn hard for this old man to understand the concept. Y'all can start laughing now. lol

Baron, my apologies. As I attempted to say, I was using your post of "Winning helps" to help me make a point of an earlier post I made that seem to fell on deaf ears. As I tried to communicate (but must have failed), this was in no way directed at you. I was simply trying to elaborate on my post on why a Longhorn graduate or fan should never, ever pull for OU. I apologize for the confusion.

I'll always root for the outcomes that favor Texas, even if there is some fringe benefit to OU or other rivals.

Wait a minute!....are you saying teams no longer run 4 DL...3 LB .....and 4 DB's???... Wow! When did that happen? I guess I thought Mike, Jake, and Buck were names on the roster.....
