I knew the committee didn’t have the cajones to keep the SEC out of the CFP…I’m just glad they screwed FSU and not the Horns.

That being said, what a great season! Now I have a couple of questions: Why not us? Why not now?

Can you imagine the scrutiny they’d be under if they left the sec out? They weren’t willing to do it. I imagine the networks had some influence over it as well. What pisses me off the most is when comparing you constantly hear how the sec has been a part of it, how the sec dominated it, how the sec has….. yadda yadd. How may times have they been propped up and given a chance at the championship when the team didn’t deserve it. There is so much bias towards them every year all year. Some of there teams aren’t very good but draw a #15 ranking or a #20 ranking for the sake of helping them. It’s blatantly obvious. I hope Texas gets another shot at Bama. You’ll see that Mikroe has not grown much as a passer as the talking pundits keep saying. Tommy Rees has altered the offense to his strengths and dumbed down the passing scheme…. Smart move, but he will have to push the ball downfield to beat Texas

We do not match up well with Washington. They sling the ball all over, all game. Our secondary is our weakness.

Sark needs to spend the next month getting his players healthy and getting the secondary up to snuff or this won't be much of a game.

actually I watched them closely, they play the same 2 high safety set we do, and Oregon gashed them on crossing routes underneath, we obviously have a far superior DL than they do

Fam! I watched Washington several times this season. If the Texas that played the last 2 weeks shows up Jan 1, make no mistake about it, we smash Washington. Their defense is trash. We'll stuff their run game (as per usual ) and make em 1 dimensional. And with a month to prepare our pass defense will be up for the task. I suspect they'll be behind the chains most of the night and our dline will be able to pin their ears back and make Penix uncomfortable. Quinn is gonna absolutely carve their secondary. Just start wrapping your heads around this team playing for a national championship

Speaking of superior DL, Sweat and Murphy remind me of Shaun Rogers and Casey Hampton. They were so dominant!
