I thought it would be helpful to keep track of which UT could return to Texas but also could decide to head to the NFL, or simply graduate and retire from football.

This list is adopted from the work of Joe Cook at Inside Texas.

Grads with eligibility left:
Jahdae Barron - could use covid season. Almost definitely NFL
Trill Carter - RS in 2019 and covid year. 1 year remaining after this season. Return or retire
Jalen Catalon - RS 2019 and covid year. 1 year remaining after this season. Return or retire
Alfred Collins - covid year, 1 year remaining after this season. Return or late round/FA in NFL
Kitan Crawford - covid year, 1 year remaining after this season. Return or late round/FA in NFL
Jaylan Ford - covid year, 1 year remaining after this season. Likely 1st/2nd day NFL pick
David Gbenda - RS 2019 and covid year. 1 year remaining after this season. Return or possible NFL FA
Sawyer Goram-Welch - 2 years remain
Jake Majors - 2 years remain. Likely to return, could retire or transfer
Byron Murphy - 1 year remaining. Mid round NFL or return to try to become a top pick
Isaiah Neyor - Covid year and could likely get a injury redshirt. Was definitely a portal pick earlier this year but some chance he returns now
Keilan Robinson - covid year. 1 year remaining. Not likely an NFL guy at any point, Return or retire
Jerrin Thompson - covid year. 1 year remaining. Not an NFL guy this year. Return or retire
Ryan Watts - covid year. 1 year remaining. Late round NFL vs return to increase draft status
Jordan Whittington - covid year eligibile but he has stated he will not return. NFL FA likely

Grad with expired eligibility
- Jett Bush
- Christian Jones
- Ryan Sanborn
- T'vondre Sweat

Barron and Ford are day two draft picks.
Grad transfers Goram-Welch, Neyor, K Robinson
Hopefully the rest return

I think JWhit before or during last season said he wouldn't come back. Not predicting another year, but you never know.

I sure wish he had more targets to showcase his reciever skills.

Agree on SGW, I am not sure what level he lands out and in what role.

As a player, Neyor could contribute next year. I am not sure if off the field stuff has derailed that though. Sounds like whatever issue there was earlier has been smoothed over.

Robinson may transfer, he gets little to no touches as a RB now. I would be curious where he would go though and if he would have a better role on any other team.

You're right about Robinson. His only chance at the NFL is if he shines on special teams ala Bill Bates.

With Worthy gone, J Whit should get more targets. Also, Ewers should be better at going through the progressions.

What about A D Mitchell?

The article mentioned that J Whitt said this would be for real for real this time his last game at DKR.

I've seen day two projections for him.
He wasn't included on the list because it was written for players that are being celebrated at senior day (ie graduating players).

He has played 3 seasons. His second season with UGA he only played 4 games - could take that as a redshirt year. So he actually has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

But yes, he is likely NFL bound regardless.

We all love J Whitt, so hopefully he will say "Really, really for real, for real" next year. Lol
He is an outstanding young man and a favorite of ours, so whatever is best for him is what we want.
