Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

They have found a pretty dynamic solution on offense with their 2 QBs, especially the incredibly fast Avery Johnson who had 5 rushing TDs against tech.

Houston seemed to keep Johnson and Will Howard in check in the run game this past week so maybe we can take some lessons from their defensive approach. That said, both QBs had great days throwing the ball and Tech got blown out.

Our defense has smothered teams without dynamic QBs but we've given up a decent amount of yards and points to teams with QBs who can scramble. That is my biggest concern.
They're a solid team that appears to be hitting their stride at the right time, although a weaker schedule so far could be a factor.

Either way, Texas obviously isn't beating them with multiple turnovers and empty red zone trips.

per OddShark looks like all the Horn unfaithful dumped a bunch of money and put money on KSU, the spread dropped to Texas minus 4 but they are at minus 300 on the Money Line

which in English translates to the books want you to think Texas will win but they will win in a squeaker

Agree

I think this particular game will depend much on how our defense plays. The one QB who can run like a deer worries me. If he's in the game, we need to spy him. We have to stop the run, and that includes the QB running.

Offensively, we need to pound the ball and humiliate them. We do that enough, we'll have our way with this game. KSU's secondary can give up some big plays though.

on baseball betting sites they show which umpire is behind the plate

when do they post what refs we get before each game

never seen a deer that survived getting hit by a '41 Ford Truck

Pound the ball, good way to go.At one time while ou was behind they ran the ball 15 strair plays. Do you think Sark can do that?

Odds it will be a pass. If incomplete followed by a run. Some timesthesegreat offence play callers cannot see the forest for the trees. And its not only Sark.

With our offensive line, we should be able to get two yards when we really need to.

And k-state won’t drop some of those picks like BYU did. Maalik had several turnover worthy plays. Can’t have that against a good disciplined team.
