So much we can do with the positional flexibility of some of these guys as well.I really liked 2 things he said in particular.
1). Complete team. Oh yeah, baby.
2). If you go 4 wide with a running back, exactly who are you going to double? JT Sanders is very talented, as is Whitt, Cook, Worthy, Neyor, Baxter, Red, Blue, and Brooks.
I like it.
PS: May I add that Whitt is a 5th year who wants to go out leaving nothing on the table. Worthy is a Junior with loads of talent. Sanders has shown me more every year (we may not have a more complete player at this point in time). Cook is blinding. Does he have a downside?
oh no! I didn’t mention AD Mitchell. Shame on me, and the running back room, what can we say? It’s an embarrassment of riches.
How could I have forgotten Mitchell?
That is terrible!
Hook ‘em!
…and some of you doubt this team? Oh ye of little faith.
It’s no wonder Sark rubs his head when the reporters ask him stupid questions about this team and the SEC. Can’t they wait a few weeks and see how we match up against Alabama! Sheesh.
Sanders is a TE who is a legit passing threat split wide.
Whittington is a great slot guy who can block like a TE or easily move into an H-back type role.
Jonathon Brooks, Keilan Robinson and Jaydon Blue can all serve as passing threats out of the back field or can flex out wide.
We can hit the field in 11 personnel (1 RB 1 TE) and easily motion to 5 wide, double TE, 2 backs, etc.
Sark is a master of this type of thing - at least in the first half of games. Rod Babers has tracked this closely over the last two years and Sark has done less of these "cheat codes" in 2nd halves. Perhaps with a more complete and mature team we can see this for 4 quarters this year.
