Greg McElroy has Texas at #7 in his rankings. That is expected of a coach and ex-player leading up to a big game. Better for Bama, win or lose. 
For sure, although the bromance between Saben and Sark is very apparent.

I read it differently. He wishes he would have played better but blames others that he didn't.

Just call it 50/50 as far as blame goes. Sterns and Foster were both bad about taking shots and not wrapping up. IIRC Herman and Orlando addressed this in their weekly pressers.

I guess playing hard for one or two games was good enough for 32-18 over 4 seasons and 4-0 in bowl games. BTW, Mack Brown is the only other Texas coach to have won 4 or more bowl games in consecutive years.
