Agree. What can we hang our hat on?With our inability to run the ball and having an anemic pass offense it’s hard to see how we score enough to win.
Texas needs to go to play action pass. There is a safety running into the box on almost every play with or without play action. Since they are selling out on the run throw until you can generate some rushing yards, just like them. Their runs are effective because they don't run much.Texas has 18 rushing yards the first half. That does not bode well.
I'd say this is the stone cold lock of the year, considering we already have an INT.Penix keeps taking risks with his passes. I'm thinking we get an INT or two in this one.
Just stop. You think a true freshman with not a single play under his belt would do any better?Ewers is a bust nuff said
Great reply to that bsJust stop. You think a true freshman with not a single play under his belt would do any better?
play action is designed to freeze the LB's and get the DB's to look in the backfield for just a second but it only works when you have a running game and without #5 they dont/won't respect play action, as someone else mentioned in an earlier post it looks like TCU all over againTexas needs to go to play action pass. We make 2nd half adjustment's?I mean we are only down by 10 at the half but damn, it sure seems like a very large 10 points.
Sure hope we have a decent opening drive and get back in this thing.
