*****Game Thread: #20 Texas Longhorns vs #11 Oklahoma State Cowboys*****

I really wish I could figure out what it would take to win at Texas. I’ve been trying to figure that out for 12 years and just don’t know. I doubt Saban could win at Texas.
Same.

The same issues never seem to escape this program. Lack of discipline, mentally weak, and not wanting to win more than the guy across the field from them.

Especially the last part. The entitlement culture is f-ing real in this program and it needs to f-ing end.

Texas needed a leader on the field today....Ewers showed that he isn't that leader, at least not yet...and except for the time the camera showed him on the phone with the guys upstairs, it doesnt look like he answers to anyone on the sidelines, and when they show a receiver getting in a coach's face on the bench about the lack of times he was targeted with throws, it shows me that QE has his favorites and he isn't sharing the love on the field

Coach K , your defense gave up 41 points today, that just aint gonna cut it, lots of bodies running around in space, but you made Sanders look like the All Big 12 QB that he is, your DB's look like they dont know if they are playing zone or man to man

Sark , Ive been one of your biggest supporters since you got here, but please explain how you target XW SIXTEEN times for only FOUR catches, surely there had to have been other guys open

Texas you had one job to do...get out of Stillwater with a WIN, and it looked like everyone was looking around for someone else to make that play(s) to make that happen

Injuries to Cook and Watts may not bode well for the defense going forward. While Texas is definitely making progress, a couple more solid recruiting classes and a couple of years for underclassmen who are playing to gain some experience are needed. I know it's frustrating in the meantime, but lack of quality depth can cause teams to fade down the stretch.

We have immensely better talent than the team that beat us today. OSU had way more injuries.

What defense? OSU had four or five starters outthe whole game. Next man up.

Sark has sixty or more precent of his players now. So depth is no excuse neither is poorcoaching!

We've always had the talent.

For the millionth time I've said.... at some point, the guys on this roster have to want to win more than the guy across the field from them.

It sucks we don't have, and cant sign, the guys who are hungry.

The Pokes had how many backups today? and still walked away with the W.

Some one posted Dabo went to a freshman QB and preserved he victory.

When freshman QB went in they were behind, he won the game.

A few rants on our great coach. Some says he is a great play caller. I agree on his first 20 pr so scripted plays. After that he seems lost can  lt make adjustments.

Says he never considered pulling Ewers. That is plain stu......... you pick the word. No one player is above the team or win ing a game. Read where a e pert said it was the terrible wind. Guess it quit blowing when pokes had the ball.

Well a bye week will cure all ills or at least till second quarter of next game.

Big cigar's comment on Strong comes tp mind might apply to Sark.

Did beat OU some credit due, but have doubts could have out scored them if they had their QB.

I guess you've been wrong a million times. Did you see Red arguing with Ewers over only throwing to Worthy? He wanted to win so bad he was willing to stand up for it.

It's the coaching.

Sark has made it clear since he went back to QE start the OU game that with the exception of an injury thats his QB1...I think it would have been a monumental task to expect HC to pull out the win, but as I said in my post earlier with the exception of the time the camera showed QE on the phone with the guys upstairs, I did not see one coach get in his ear and either pump him up or chew his butt, is he untouchable, is he the golden child or is he a prima donna that thinks his talent will just make every throw
