Trying to figure out WTF this implies.

This implies TX and OU in the BIG12 through 2024, that sucks if true.

So 14 teams, if divisions then that's 6 games within your division and 3.5 games cross division games each year to play everyone at least once, very awkward.

If no divisions then maybe 3 teams twice and 5 once over 2 years for 8 conference games , or 5 teams twice and 4 teams once over 2 years for 9 conference games, this would make the most sense to me, since we already have 9 conference games a year.

After seeing an article I realize the tweet refers to basketball,  not football. I guess we should see a football schedule soon.

Going to be able to attend a home game for the first time in a decade.  Looking for two (2) tickets to the UT/Baylor game. Drop me a DM if you are looking to sell.

No surprise,  if we are going to stay for another 2 years with 14 teams this seems like the way to do it.

To get to 9 games implies we play 5 teams both years and the remaining 8 teams once in the 2 years.

We know we will play 049u and TT both years, all that is left is to find out who the other 3 teams will be.

I'm surprised and disappointed that they couldn't figure out an early exit, maybe it can still happen for 2024 if they get a new early TV deal, but I'm not holding my breath.
