I have a question about a call in the game. I believe it was the 3rd quarter and WV had the ball. Their QB throws the ball (incompletion) while getting hit by 2 Texas players. The ref bends down to look at the QB, sees him holding his head then stands up and throws his flag. What did they call on that play? I was at the game and couldn't hear over the booing. Looked like a typical terrible call by the Big 12 crew.

I believe that was when they called Sweat for roughing the passer. It was confusing watching it on tv as well. If I am not mistaken, that was the play the tv commentators speculated that the ref threw the flag because they saw how big Sweat was and missed the call or something to that effect. Terrible.

Yea, I saw Sark's presser after the game on TV yesterday and he mentioned he had a question about a specific call. I assume it was that one.

Roughing the passer. And I agree, it was a terrible call.
