We just knows trolls when we read one.
It's no fun on forums when everyone holds hands and sings Kum ba Yah. It's been less fun since Shaggy Bevo is gone.

I can assure you my blood bleeds Orange. Troll for responses, yep. Why else be on a forum? It's to talk to people.

I can honestly say from my POV, that I have nothing against your posts or thoughts.  I don't agree with them most of the time, but I don't have to.  You keep things lively on this board.  The real conversations will start tomorrow around 5:30pm (Hawaii time). The conversation on Sep 10th should be thrown out the window because Bama will expose our weaknesses and then some (I think we can all agree on that point).   We just have to say thank you and be on our way after that game.

I will judge this team on the other 11 games this season.

I've stated this before, 8-4 is my personal floor for this season.  That would mark a 3 game improvement with a very, very young team.  10-2 is the ceiling and that one is a reach for me.

So what are you saying? That you enjoy playing the role of aggy to get people riled up?

This by far the best internet community I've been a part of. Shaggy/Surly Bevo is a bunch of smartass keyboard warriors that say things they would never to your face. It is rude and obnoxious.

6 highest ranked conference champions plu6 6 highest ranked non conference champions.

4 highest ranked league champions get a bye.

Would prefer 4 highest ranked teams get the bye, but clearly everyone can live with this
6 highest CC and then 6 at large. Unless that is what you meant by "non conference champs"

For everyone upset by my posts , grab your comfort animal, cover yourself in your safety blanket, and put on your headphones. Listen to your same rhetoric over and over again that doesn't challenge how/what you think. You'll be ok.
For those of us that are not upset by your posts, what advice would you like to give us?

Opposing views that are productive and elicit critical thinking are great, but that's not what you're accomplishing with takes like the donors made Sark start Ewers, or the offense is Bijan 1st down, Bijan 2nd down, etc.

I think you know that, though.

We don't all have to agree on this board, and it is more interesting when people bring opposing views. It's just nice when those views have some logic and fact associated with them.

Honestly, I actually felt more confident with Dicker at around 45 yards.  The numbers probably don't support my rationale here, but I got nervous with him in the 30/45 range.  Almost as if he lost focus on those.  Who knows, revisionist history.
Career percentages:

20-29 yards - 19-21 (90.4%)

30-39 yards - 19-22 (86.4%)

40-49 yards - 18-28 (64.2%)

>50 yards - 4-8 (50%)

His two misses on 20-29 happened his 1st two years, with another 30 yarder missed freshmen year. May be why you thought he struggled from short distance, bad first impression. He did miss 2 more 30 yarders junior year but was otherwise perfect between 20-40 yards his junior and senior year.

Interestingly, he never had a FG attempt <20 yards. Probably indicative of both coaches penchant to go for it on 4th down in close quarters.
