SignUp Now!We should be so luckyThey aren’t 8-4 in the SEC; they are 4-4. Not respectable, mediocre.
Arkansas gave up its Texas recruiting when it changed conferences. The same as Nebraska when they moved. aggy is aggy they went from 4-4 in the Big 12 to 4-4 in the SEC. Granted that’s the same as us in the Big12 right now.We should be so lucky
Texas is on the upswing but we have a long way to go
just look at Arkansas
it was perennial powerhouse in the Southwest Conference but an also-ran in the SEC
I agree that Arkansas is not getting as many 4 and 5 star Texas plays as it used toArkansas gave up its Texas recruiting when it changed conferences. But our ceiling is higher than aggy because, well, they are aggy but mainly because we’re Texas.
Sark talks very highly of both Ewers and Card. Sark is working with both of them on a daily basis and is a respected QB expert.I’m watching orangeblood with Geoff Ketchums and he is VERY negative of quinn ewers
specifically that ewers is not progressing mentally
Ketchums is often wrong
but not always

Nebraska's demise came about once Texas joined the Big 12 and forced the elimination of the "partial qualifier."Arkansas gave up its Texas recruiting when it changed conferences. Does Ketch look like he's ever played the position?Sark talks very highly of both Ewers and Card. Sark is working with both of them on a daily basis and is a respected QB expert.
Ketch at most sees a few plays, and wants to get attention. Hard to imagine why anyone would take him seriously on this.
You are doing a very poor job of impersonating a Texas fan. Just go away…quietly.8&4 in the South East Conference is a very respectable record for any team other than Alabama
I think you fail to appreciate how tough its going to be for Texas when we get there
Ketch doesn’t look like he walks fast. Truth!Does Ketch look like he's ever played the position?
Sark played the position.
You are a tool.8&4 in the South East Conference is a very respectable record for any team other than Alabama
I think you fail to appreciate how tough its going to be for Texas when we get there
But that's not 8-4 in the Southeast Conference. Thats three cupcakes and then five SEC wins.8&4 in the South East Conference is a very respectable record for any team other than Alabama

Agreed. Nebraska went from great to mediocre when Texas joined Big 12. Then they went from mediocre to bad when they joined the B10.Nebraska's demise came about once Texas joined the Big 12 and forced the elimination of the "partial qualifier."
You spelled "mediocre" wrong, aggy. Especially when reviewing your overall SEC record.8&4 in the South East Conference is a very respectable record for any team other than Alabama
I think you fail to appreciate how tough its going to be for Texas when we get there
I am not an A&M fanBut that's not 8-4 in the Southeast Conference. Thats three cupcakes and then five SEC wins.
So thats 5-4 in the SEC. Thats not real respectable. But why are you bellyaching now about the SEC? You guys wanted to go. You hold that conference higher than your own school. You rely on moral victories to feel good about it all. Mizzou has been the conference championship game, but you haven't.
I think what you fail to appreciate is how you're spending $100 million on a coach who is no better than Sumlin was.
I don't remember anyone saying that on this board. A lot of hope for a better season, yes, but no talk of being ready for an SEC championship, yet.I am not an A&M fan
I expect Texas to win 9 games this year
but some people here think Texas is championship caliber in the SEC when we havent even claimed a Big 12 championship in a decade
I don't think anyone on this board has said anything about an SEC championship or thinks we'll walk in and win a title. Thats nonsense because no one is talking about a championship.I am not an A&M fan

Well said sirI don't think anyone on this board has said anything about an SEC championship or thinks we'll walk in and win a title. Thats nonsense because no one is talking about a championship.
We've watched while aggy has struggled to stay in the middle of the pack in a division of a conference, so we know its a tough league for aggy. Its so tough that Mizzou won a division only once and aggy hasn't won anything at all.
We've watched while some schools have sold the kitchen sink for a coach who can take them to the promised land – only to see them show no improvement over what they had before.
I think we understand how hard it will be. lol
