IT said today that Samu is a take for Texas right now.

Per IT, expect Texas to get serious about ATH Jamaal Shaw from West Orange-Stark.

The defensive staff has had the chance to evaluate him even more since offering, and they want to get him on campus for March 12th or March 26th.

Quick side note...my apologies for not being as active on the board recently.

I am working on a college contacts list for recruits and their families to publish on social media, and that has taken a ton of my time outside of my day job.

I wanted to focus on that during the winter dead period since recruiting is slower, but I'll be fully focused on the board again by this weekend.

Good news is we haven't missed anything worth talking about.

IT saying DT My'Keil Gardner of Peoria, AZ will be in Austin on March 28th and 29th with his mother.

He mentioned Texas is recruiting him harder than anyone, but a potential USC offer is one to watch in his recruitment and he'll be on their campus this weekend.

It's always worth keeping in mind a lot of the national coverage hasn't given Texas a legit shot.

Also, I'm not sure how much thought I'd give to this new On3 Recruit Prediction Machine (RPM). They are trying to apply an algorithm to a process that is too unpredictable.

I remember Auburn coming to town with Bo Jackson.  He got caught from behind and broke his collarbone in that game. Auburn left with a loss.  Hopefully we have something similar happen when Bama comes to town.   Would love to send them home with a loss.

We defensed Bo Jackson better than any team they faced, IMO.

Yep 1983 was my senior year.  UT turned 100 that year.  My diploma has the UT and Centennial seals on it.  Our cap and gowns were burnt orange as well.
