Not getting my hopes up here, but already some hints being dropped on WR Evan Stewart.

Great news.  But he still has to compete for the starting job and Ewers hasn't played at the college level.  So great that we got a 5* QB but let's see how he performs before I get excited.

I know what you mean, but don't forget about the other factors even if he never plays a down.

His commitment will make it easier to attract other elite players. Getting the two big uglies this weekend wasn't a coincidence. We were in pretty big need of a momentum swing with how things went this year and aggie recruiting lights out. Remember when Simms committed for Mack it broke the seal to getting other elite players. 

Also, it helps erase some of the more painful side effects of the Herman experience.

Assuming the portal guys could drop any time between now and the spring, who is left and what are the legitimate possibilities to round out the 22 class?

Several OL and DB unsigned  Red at WR plus several WRS unsigned.

A lot of people think Ewers will bring several recruits. Lots of possible thinks can happen.

OrangeBloods spoke with ATH Xavion Brice of Arlington Seguin earlier tonight and he told them the trip went great, and it was fun to connect with so many other recruits.

They expect him to flip to Texas soon.
