Thinking of the spring game and looking at the current roster, the speed on offense now is outstanding.  Jake Smith coming back (knock on wood), Xavier Worthy, and now K. Robinson has elevated this offense to elite speed, imo.  Can't wait for Sark to put this together.

Thanks SHA.  Always nice to see Kate.

Have to ask though, is this a way to signify 2 commits?  If so, please don't deprive us of two Kate's.
While it is certainly possible we get another in the next few days, Kate was only signifying that she "is watching" this. lol

High school football: Arch Manning, Quinn Ewers among Top 5 players to watch in 2021

2. QB — Quinn EwersSouthlake Carroll (Southlake, Texas)
Height: 6-3 | Weight: 205
Status: Committed to Ohio State | Class: Senior (2022)
The top-rated player in the country became the sixth player in 247Sports composite history to receive a perfect 1.0000 rating last December — joining Rashan Gary (2016), Robert Nkemdiche (2013), Jadeveon Clowney (2011), Ernie Sims (2003) and Vince Young (2002). The five-star quarterback helped lead the Dragons to a runner-up finish in Texas' largest classification last season and was named the MaxPreps Sophomore Player of the Year in 2019.
4. QB — Arch ManningNewman (New Orleans)
Height: 6-3 | Weight: 200
Status: Uncommitted | Class: Junior (2023)
There might not be a bigger name in high school sports and Manning has exceeded expectations through his first two seasons. He was named the MaxPreps Freshman Player of the Year in 2019 and followed that up with a selection on the Sophomore MaxPreps All-America team in 2020. Manning is the top-rated quarterback on 247Sports for the Class of 2023 and fourth-rated prospect overall.

Sulphur River is 15 miles from my parents' home. I caught a lot of fish on that river while growing up. The bottoms of the Sulphur extend out for miles in both directions. It floods regularly.
Sabine isn’t that bad to get out of the banks.  It has twice in my 41 years that I remember.

Well, howdy neighbor! We're down closer to Milam. You know we fishermen do have a tendency to stretch things a mite.
I used to drive to Milam a couple times a year to eat at Bryce’s.  Sure hate it burned down

I grew up near Milam County and always thought Milam was some small town in the county I never went to. Learn something new every day!

The boatload of catfish plate was one of the big draws here. Six corn cob sized catfish perfectly fried was Mr. Bryce's specialty. The pistolette rolls with honey were awesome, too.  Yeah, we all miss Bryce's Landing.

I had not heard anything about it burning. I heard it closed because Mr. Bryce had a heart attack and retired a few years back. Last I heard was that someone has recently bought it and is in the process of reopening it.

I'm assuming this is a preferred walk-on thing and not a schollie, but I'm not sure. He does have a 5-star rating from the specialty rating system as a long snapper.

Lance St Louis tweeted that he committed to UT. However, that tweet is no longer up for some reason.

Got it now.

More on St Louis:

"St. Louis continues to display why he is one of the best in the country and has the talent to play for any program in America. He has a rare combination of athleticism and snapping talent. St. Louis recently competed at the Kohl’s Western Showcase and finished the day with an average snap time of .66 seconds. He followed up his strong charting performance by running a 4.75 second 40-yard dash. St. Louis has the talent and drive to play the position for a very long time. I can’t wait to see which program is fortunate enough to add him to their roster."

Joe Cook is reporting this is a scholarship offer.
