Saban is one smart cookie. He knows if he doesn't get a good OC to replace Sark then he could transfer to UT. Sark was the best OC in college football, so that's not going to work.

Instead he's going to the NFL for a OC in either Adam Gase or Bill O'brien. This way he can tell Young that he will get NFL training.

OB added they aren't sure if Ansley would be the DC or solely the DBs coach, but he definitely wants out of Tennessee with everything going on there.

The problem there is the DL spot has been taken. That leaves LBs for Tosh unless you're just going to let him be co-coordinator only with no other duties.

We had 2 DL Coaches this year.  Davis + Tosh on DT/DE.  Ansley + Gideon in secondary at CB/S.  Maybe keep Hutzler at LB.  That'd be an All-Star staff.  Make Tosh and Ansley Co-DC's with Ansley calling/running things.

This whole coaching staff part of the thread is entertaining but we are wasting a lot of our time. I don’t think Sarkisian is reading this thread to find out who he should hire. If he’s the coach that we want he’s trying to figure out how to score more points than Ohio State Monday night. And he has someone not involved with Alabama that he trusts helping on our stuff.

many people who dont follow Ewers realize the kid is a devout Christian, he tweets about it very often, I sure that it had a lot to do with WHO recruited him...not saying that Texas is full of heathens and non believers but I do believe it was a major factor in him flipping to OSU. he must have connected with someone on a spiritual level...

This sounds logical but it is not correct. He flipped because of the UT coaching conundrum and some real effective negative recruiting.  Most of which came from the NFL.
