I'm kind of confused.  You would think a DC has already been chosen, right?  I mean, shouldn't the DC have a say on guys a part of that staff?  

Maybe the DC is having a say. And we just don't know it ?

I agree is seems to be counterintuitive unless Sark is coordinating and consulting with someone that he has already be chosen to be DC but has not announced.

Let's hope his NCAA violations don't come back here. I remember he was well respected at Bama before being forced to resign. I don't even remember exactly what he did wrong.

On Bo Davis...worth noting that he started his career at Galena Park North Shore.

Texas has desperately needed someone to get them back in the door at that school.

Also, Davis being hired should mean Tosh Lupoi is out, but we'll see.

Exclusively DL other than when he coached LBs at Bama from 2016 to 2018.

My only hope for Lupoi at this point is the Quinn connection, but you can obviously make certain things work (like a second DL coach) if the potential assistants are willing.
