to answer directly, I havent seen any NFL DCs mentioned yet. 

I've seen Tosh Lupoi (Atlanta Falcons) being mentioned as DC and/or DL

Bo Davis (Detroit Lions) has been mentioned as DL but I havent seen his name come up for DC

Just watched a Sark press conference.  Just listening to him being the spokesman for the team will be a breath of fresh air.  I'm sure he has a fantastic ego but a little humility goes a long way.

John Glenn was a statesman senator from a different era of politics.  Also might have been a good Defense Secretary.  So maybe this one could be a good Defensive Coordinator.

Burton from IT mentioned this morning that if he were betting on the DC hire, he'd go with Zach Arnett of Mississippi State.

Sark wants a DC comfortable with running the 3-3-5.

Marcus Freeman from Cincinnati also fits that description.

Oddly enough, I found an article that answers my question.  Not that I'm "against" it but I can understand why folks would be.  Especially considering who made it "vogue" (i.e. Charlie Strong).  Good read:

I do not like the 3-3-5 either, I guess because some of the best defenses T Texas were 4-3-4 or 4-2-5 s. Guess this might be why Ash is not considered more.
